Hoeveel water uit die boorgate?

Vraag:

Ek sal graag wil weet, in die lig van die Von Bachdam wat Desember gaan leeg wees, wat het van die boorgate geword? Word daar al water onttrek uit die nuwe boorgate wat in Windhoek gesink is?

Lydia Amutenya, Public Relation Officer in the Department of The Chief Executive Officer writes:

We have 32 production boreholes producing about 88 612 m3 per week. The target is 90 000 m3. This was the average of last 8 weeks or 2 months.

None of the newly drilled boreholes are in operation. They are currently being tested to determine the pump equipment sizes that must be installed.

The tests at four (4) of these boreholes have been completed and the water from these tests are part of the weekly production figures.
