Coastal soccer fans can look forward to four mouthwatering Southern Stream First Division clashes this weekend
Coastal contenders Blue Boys and Eleven Arrows will take on O&L Ramblers and Black Africa in Southern Stream First Division round 16 and 17 matches this weekend at the coast.
Arrows will face Ramblers on Saturday at 13:00 and Black Africa on Sunday at 10:00. The matches will be played at Jan Wilken Stadium in Walvis Bay.
Blue Boys will square off against Black Africa on Saturday at 15:00 and Q&L Ramblers on Sunday at 10:00. The matches will be played at the Mondesa Stadium in Swakopmund.
Arrows defeated Dates Eleven (2-1) and lost to Mariental (2-1) while Blue Boys defeated Mariental Sports Club 2-1 and were held to a 1-1 draw by Dates Eleven in their last matches.
Namibian Correctional Service is setting the pace with 38 points from 15 matches. The log leaders registered 12 wins, two dross and one defeat. The “prison warders” scored 40 goals and conceded 11 goals.
Blue Boys is placed second on the log with 35 points. The Boys in Blue recorded 11 wins, two draws and two defeats. They scored 31 goals and conceded 13 goals.
Eleven Arrows is placed third with 30 points. Arrows recorded nine wins, three draws and three defeats. Arrows scored 34 goals and conceded 17 goals.
The two visiting opponents for this weekend, Ramblers, is placed sixth on the log with 22 points and Black Africa is in the eighth spot with 16 points respectively.
Ramblers defeated DTS (1-0) and Davos (1-0) while Black Africa scored a victory against Davos (2-1) and lost to DTS (1-0) in their last fixtures.

The PstBet NFA Cup 2024 Round of 32 (Competition Proper) fixtures pit Pstbet Eshoke Chula Chula against VEN Blue Waters on 5 May at Oshakati Stadium (16:00).
Swakopmund FC will take on Civics at Omlunga Stadium (16:00) in Grootfontein and Eleven Arrows will meet the Mighty Gunners at Omlunga Stadium (10:00) on 6 May.
This round of the competition is being contested by the 16 Namibian Premier League Football teams, the three Nationwide First Division teams’ winners and the 13 winners of the Regional Second Division Preliminary Round.
Teams that qualified for the Round of 32 received playing gear. The winner of this year’s edition of the competition will pocket N$ 500 000, the runner-up will receive N$ 200 000, the third placed team N$ 100 000 and the fourth placed team N$ 50 000.
