A living testimony of always believing in yourself

Growing up as his mother’s only child, Isai was born in Oshakati and attended his primary education at Otjikondo Primary farm boarding school in the Kunene Region. That is where he learned about hard work, sharing and how to integrate with different cultures, and he thanks his mother for sending him to that school.
He matriculated from Otjiwarongo Secondary School and straight thereafter started his first employment at Fourie Rekenmeesters, an auditing firm at Otjiwarongo. A few years later he secured employment at Khomas Medical Centre in Windhoek as a practice and facility manager, the job he occupied until his appointment at Pupkewitz Motors.
As the dealer principal at Pupkewitz Volkswagen North, he will be responsible for the effective leadership of his team to achieve business objectives, budgets and targets and maintaining excellent customer services.
He is an ardent reader on leadership and a constant follower of great leaders on social platforms through which he gained his business and people management skills.
He is appreciative of his former boss who taught him life principles such as to always stick to your principles, be honest and loyal, always put God first and never forget where you came from.
One of his great achievements at Khomas Medical Centre was the successful organising of a Golf Day in which they raised over N$ 100 000 for the upgrade of the frail-care facility at the Khomas Medical Centre in Auas Hills.
Isai is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Unam. He is looking forward to the opportunity to work for Pupkewitz Motors and wants to plough back into the community through different social responsibility projects. Shigwedha really wants to give back to the community and looks forward to becoming part of Pupkewitz Motor Division’s outreach programmes.
Isai’s words of encouragement to young people are: “You must believe that you can accomplish anything but remember to always put God first and work hard, because the world does not owe you anything.”
