May peace help us see things clearly
EUNICE ANN VAN ZYL WRITES:
I saw the Lord Jesus Christ in a dream. He did not say anything but I noticed that He had huge wings.
When I woke up, I was surprised at what I saw. Spiritually when we think about wings, we think either about angels or about eagles.
After meditating on the dream, the Holy Spirit reminded me of Psalm 91.
I realised then that our Heavenly Father in His faithfulness was speaking to us about the protection of confessing Psalm 91 over us daily.
Psalm 91:4
“He shall cover you with His feathers.
And under His wings you shall take refuge.
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.”
This has been an extraordinary year. The world will look back on it as a year unlike any other in our life time. The year 2020 when a virus came upon the nations like a “thief in the night”.
The phrase speaks about when “least expected”.
In the Holy Bible, the book of Matthew 24 speaks about the signs before the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
In the words of the Lord Jesus Christ:
Matthew 24:44
“Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”
We are thankful to our Heavenly Father for His mercy shown to our nation Namibia in 2020.
We will have another opportunity in 2021 to do our best to walk before Him in reverential fear.
Psalm 100:4 – 5 New King James Bible
“Enter His gates with thanksgiving,
And into His courts with praise.
Be thankful to Him and bless His name.
For the Lord is good:
His mercy is everlasting,
And His truth endures to all generations.”
I have always believed that in an attitude of peace it is possible to see things more clearly.
May the Lord Jesus Christ, the “Prince of peace” fill our hearts and homes with His peace over this holiday season.
Luke 2:14 NKJ Bible
“Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace, good will towards men.”
