The ultimate self-drive adventure in Namibia with Land Rover
Land Rover has launched a unique adventure travel experience in Namibia – behind the wheel of the All-New Discovery.
The eight-day Land Rover Namibia Adventure takes in some of the country’s finest scenery and wildlife which starts when guests get to know the All-New Discovery with a briefing from a Land Rover Experience instructor before setting off to a lodge to meet fellow explorers and begin their journey.
Seeing the Big Five or taking an epic road trip features heavily on travel bucket lists for international travellers, but combining it with a self-drive in the Land Rover Discovery makes for an unforgettable travel experience.
Guests can photograph epic sand dunes, spot the country’s great beasts in Etosha National Park and enjoy spectacular scenery where the Namib Desert meets the South Atlantic Ocean.
“Adventure plays a key part in what makes for an exhilarating drive – whether it be an iconic road trip or on the road less travelled,” says Mark Cameron, Global Experiential Marketing Director at Jaguar Land Rover.
“To do this from behind the wheel of the All-New Discovery makes it unique. These self-drive adventures offers an exceptional driving experience where our customers will get the chance to push the vehicle to its limits and enjoy unforgettable surroundings.”
The Namibia Adventure departs on 14 October 2017 and costs about N$72 000, based on two people sharing. It includes all Land Rover driving activities, accommodation, meals and airport transfers.
