Nedbank celebrates banking heroes

STAFF REPORTER
Nedbank Namibia recently celebrated the bankers who have helped it on its path to success, as part of its annual Top Achievers Awards.

Held under the theme ‘Celebrating the success of your rhythm in harmony’, the awards recognise the performance and contributions of employees who have made a significant impact in the company’s success in the previous year.

A total of 15 award categories were presented and the winners were chosen based on their outstanding performance in the 2023 financial year. In addition to the individual awards, the bank also recognised top performing teams, which highlighted the importance of teamwork and collaboration in achieving success.

The categories included: Top 5 Sales Individual Awards, Top Sales Team, Top 5 Support/Service Individuals, Top Support/Service Team, Top Branch Award, Best Teller of the Year Award, Customer Service Champion Award, Leadership Award, Top Project Team Award, Top 4 Achievers, and MD Award.

Nedbank Namibia managing director Martha Murorua praised the award recipients, saying the bank stands by its commitment to invest in its people.

“In our journey through 2023, we have indeed danced to the rhythm of harmony, blending the diverse talents, passions and aspirations of our people who have shaped our collective spirit. At Nedbank Namibia, we persist in our mission to invest in our people. This means not only providing first-rate resources, but also emphasising the significance of balancing personal development with business growth,” she said.
