Changing lives one arrow at a time

Pro-Ed Academy recently held its first African Genesis Archery (AGA) ranking shoot in Swakopmund.

The school introduced archery three years ago. Archers from all over the country pitched at the school’s rugby field for the competition which concluded at around 16:00. Archers from Privaatskool Moria, Central Elite Archery Club, Berg-Op Akademie, Community Hope School, St George's, Windhoek High School, Windhoek Afrikaanse Privaatskool and Walvis Bay Private High School (WBPHS) all competed.

The day was filled with fun. Participating archers made new friends while the young ones were entertained with a jumping castle and Easter egg hunt. The parents from Pro-Ed also prepared refreshments. The next shoot is a friendly during the private school's weekend in Tsumeb on Wednesday, 4 May, followed by Danie Joubert's shoot in Mariental on Saturday, 14 May 2022.
