Hamano returns with ‘Nobody Knows’

The multifacited artist from Walvis Bay is working to release a five-track project soon.
Walvis Bay–born artist, songwriter and performer Theodore ‘Hamano’ Lukas (22) will release his third studio project titled ‘Nobody Knows' early next month.
After having been on a music break for two years, Hamano says that his fans can expect a lot of music from him.
Consisting of five songs, the new body of work was compiled and written based on some of Hamano's experiences during the past two years – leading up to now. It also includes his dreams, aspirations, manifestations, and joyous moments. “I use music as a personal diary and a platform to express myself. I hope my old and new fans can relate to what I have to say in my music,” said Hamano.
The artist revealed that ‘Nobody Knows’ - which will be available on YouTube, Audiomack, and Soundcloud - features Dark Vapor, Jxzzi, Mario Akm, and Quinray, with Nick Monroe, Takunda, and Kayasa Beats listed on production credits.
Hamano says he possesses an immense passion for creating music. “My music is inspired by me, my friends, and life in general, as to what I have witnessed and gone through.”
The songwriter plans to improve existing and create new relationships with fellow artists. “Namibia needs togetherness of artists in terms of collaborations and support in general. We also need help getting corporate companies and brands to come on board with sponsorships and assistance to help endorse and grow the music culture. In doing so, we will create a well-oiled machine that can help positively impact the lives of those inside and outside the music industry.”
Hamano has made quite a name for himself over the years. He released his first eight-track project titled ‘Who Was a Lame in His Teens’ in December 2019, which went on to reach over 60 000 streams on Audiomack. His last project, ‘4 You From 6ix’, a collective of different sounds, was released on 6 November 2020 and currently stands at 19 748 streams on Audiomack.
The artist intends to release more music this year - along with a few music videos. “I would not be at this point in my music career without my fans whose support I really appreciate,” he concluded.
