Law: Corporate law

Elsa Nasilele Porfirio is a young woman with a strong interest in and enthusiasm for law. She is an admitted legal practitioner of the High Court of Namibia, is currently pursuing a master's degree in corporate law and was previously employed as the Law Society of Namibia's regulatory and compliance manager.



In her most recent venture, she joined Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR) in August 2022 as a member of its executive committee and as the company secretary/legal advisor.

“I enjoy reading and was excellent at memorising and theory in school, but dismissed anything to do with arithmetic, therefore pursuing a law degree was unquestionably the proper road to take,” she said.

“I believe in equity and fairness, and as a legal advisor, I believe in guiding the organisation in a way that avoids costly mistakes in the end.”
