Yoken Masson Swartz: Artist and producer

Yoken Masson Swartz, popularly known as YMZ, is a Namibian musician, dancer and producer. He started his career at the age of 16 as a dancer and later, in 2021, started as a musician and producer.

He aspires to be a doctor by day and a performer by night. He ventured into music after being inspired by Vincent ‘Die Laaste Hond’, who was able to go from dancing to music - and that is how his journey began.

YMZ released his first single in 2020 and it has over 20 000 views on YouTube. He is currently working on an EP titled ‘Rebirth’, which he is set to launch in August.
