Fundraising for children living with cancer

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and to kick things off, the Yellow Ribbon Festival is scheduled to take place on 31 August in Walvis Bay.
This event is dedicated to raising awareness about children living with cancer. The day starts with a fun walk and cycle event, followed by various activities at Sparta United Club. Attendees can expect music, food stalls, children's activities, jumping castles, a colour party, and live music leading up to the Springbok rugby match at 17:00.
Tickets for the Yellow Ribbon Festival cost N$50 for adults and N$20 for children, which gives you access to all activities except the coulor festival.
Entries for the cycling and fun walk events are already open.
Tickets are available at CAN Erongo (064 461 271) or send an email to [email protected] for purchase and can also be collected from Sparta Club on Friday, 30 August, from 16:00 onwards.
