Thirty nine vessel visits and counting
Port as busy as a bee
It's been quite a busy month for Namport in terms of the number of vessels docking and expected to dock in the Port of Walvis Bay.
The game plan (port log) for the Port of Walvis Bay shows that 14 vessels called at the port between 3 November and 8 November, with another 25 vessels due to arrive between today and 29 November.
The majority of the vessel expected to call between today and 20 November, consists of container vessels (9). These vessels are the Maria Da Paiz, Maersk Cape Town, CMA CGM Rossini, CMA CGM Almaviva, MSC Meltemi III, Maersk Cadiz, APL Charleston, Charl Schulte and Maersk Sheerness which is the biggest with a length of 335 metres.
