Headquartered in Johannesburg, South Africa, Stage Audio Works (SAW) expanded into Namibia in 2014 with the inauguration of a new office in Windhoek. Both branches share the same customer-centric ethos and offer their expertise to several verticals, including the corporate, worship, educational, entertainment, commercial and government sectors.

SAW’s attention to detail, unrivalled customer support, and efficient project delivery have secured them international renown as well as domestic recognition. The company was nominated for two projects at the prestigious 'Inavation Awards 2022', hosted at Integrated Systems Europe in Barcelona, Spain.

"Our vision at Stage Audio Works is to be an investable and profitable company with a well-established international footprint. Coupled with a strong customer-oriented philosophy of service, we strive to deliver the utmost to all stakeholders," explains Joppie Maritz, managing director of SAW Namibia.

"We aim to have the best people, facilities, and intellectual capital in our industry, allowing us to provide the best products and services across our market sectors."

Solution architects

Recently, SAW Namibia has delivered impressive, corporate-scale integrations for several prominent Namibian establishments, including Nedbank Namibia, Capricorn Group’s Capricorn Corner, and even the National Assembly.

Nedbank Namibia, one of the four largest banking groups in the country, enlisted SAW Namibia to deliver an extensive audio-visual system spanning the nine floors of their new headquarters. The primary aim was to streamline collaboration and conferencing by introducing a site-wide, integrated Microsoft Teams solution.

"With its seamless BYOD flexibility, a Crestron Flex solution truly ticked all of the boxes in terms of our client’s requirements, providing a familiar interface that will vastly increase workplace efficacy," states Maritz.

The NSX-listed Capricorn Group is a leading Namibian-owned financial services group known for its passion to influence positive change in their local community. During Covid-19, they made the bold decision to expand amidst uncertainty, inaugurating their new state-of-the-art offices, Capricorn Corner, and providing job security for the local economy. SAW Namibia was brought in to specify, design and deliver a sophisticated AV and control system throughout to streamline the group’s services and improve their workflows.

Positive feedback

Additionally, SAW Namibia also executed an impressive renovation of the country’s National Assembly in conjunction with Taiden, implementing a completely paperless system in response to the pandemic.

It was crucial that the interior of the building be preserved due to its cultural and historical significance. Both pinch points were met with a clever integration of an IP-based solution, supported by individual all-in-one interactive terminals for every member of congress.

Maritz says: "It’s been an honour to work alongside and support some of the pillars of our society who carry out great work in our country each day. We believe that our services have further enhanced their ability to do their jobs, and indeed, we have received positive feedback from them that reflects this."

"Here’s to a bright future for SAW Namibia and the wider company too!"
