Coastal choirs unite for festive concert
Enchanting melodies
The Kings Choir and Mascato Youth Choir are set to enchant audiences with a spectacular festive concert.
Choir music fans can prepare themselves to be swept away by the enchanting melodies when the Kings Choir and Mascato Youth Choir unite to usher in the spirit of togetherness and celebration at De Duine Secondary School hall this coming Saturday, on 25 November.
Founded in 1996, the Mascato Youth Choir has been a cornerstone of musical excellence. As a testament to their commitment to fostering a love for music across generations, the choir members later established the Kings Choir, catering for adult singers aged 25 and above.
Theodore Cookson, the maestro behind both choirs, expressed his enthusiasm for the concert, stating that the upcoming musical performance is a heartfelt gift to the community. “In a celebration of community and the approaching festive season, we aim to create an unforgettable musical experience that resonates with the joy of the season.”
Mascato is known for performing local Namibian songs, while the Kings Choir will be performing classic contemporary and gospel music.
For those eager to witness this melodic extravaganza, tickets are available at N$100 for adults and a family-friendly N$50 for children under the age of 12. To secure your spot and revel in the harmonious festivities, contact Esmerelda at 081 363 9637.
