'Because Jesus is Alive'
EUNICE ANN VAN ZYL WRITES:
In the near future I will be moving back to my country of birth, South Africa. The only person that made living in Namibia worthwhile, my husband, is not alive on earth anymore. He is with the Lord.
I remember everything surrounding his death in 2021 in detail.
Since then I can say without a doubt, Psalm 121:2 (Holy Bible NIV): “My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth”.
Testimonies that confirm our Heavenly father’s involvement in our lives are good. It increases faith.
Recently I undertook a trip to the Western Cape in search of a house. The evening before the estate agent was due to show me a house in Paarl, I went on my knees and asked the Holy Spirit to show me a clear sign if it was to be my home.
The next day when we stopped at the security complex, the security guard said “it is number 61”. Both the homes that my husband and I lived in, in Windhoek were number 61.
How amazing is our God!
There is a Christian chorus that we as followers of Lord Jesus Christ have been singing for many, many years. It is about our trust in Jesus Christ.
“Because He lives, I can face tomorrow. Because He lives, all fear is gone.
Because I know, yes I know, He holds the future. My life is worth living just because He lives”.
