Honest effort and reward!

Mandy Rittmann
SAPIENS WRITES:

After creation (Genesis) and Eden with Adam and Eve came temptation in the form of a snake (Lucifer) and the fruit of the apple tree of life, knowledge, and wisdom.

The apple was the key shortcut to power. This fall was the original sin and led to the expulsion from Utopia.

Conflict ensued, and Cain killed Abel. Humanity evolved by adapting to the environment. The strongest, fastest, smartest, and most resilient made headway. The weak was left behind and faded.

To progress, you need curiosity, creativity, and effort. It involved calculated risk. Homo sapiens originated in southern and East Africa and then headed for the horizons world wide. Evolution was slow but took a massive jump in the twentieth century.

Effort and imagination lead to reward and, after action, technological satisfaction. Emotionally, we drifted from humanity (we) to an I, me, and myself mindset.

Shortcuts to power led to lies, theft, abuse, and corruption. There is no sustainable solution/future in shortcuts (not earned). It ends in a cul de sac (doodloopstraat).

Look at the French Revolution in 1789 and the Fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989. History repeats itself if power is concentrated. Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely – autocracy.

Even today, some people are more equal than others in the power game, not by what they know but who they know (patronage).

They depend on effortless entitlement to get ahead in life. This is unsustainable.

Real progress depends on shared merit, pragmatism, and honesty (M.P.H). We share this place (planet Earth).

We all belong, so let's get along for the common good.
