Klagte van kliënt
ANONIEM SKRYF:
Ek het gister by OK Foods in Baines gaan beesbene koop. Hy is weg agter geslote deure met my pakkie.
Baie ongelukkig.
OK FOODS MANAGER, IMMANUEL FERREIRA, RESPONDS:
Thank you for the opportunity you given me to investigate what happened to your reader and my costumer.
According to my staff and the security officers, the costumer came into the store greeted my manager and had a friendly conversation, as they know each other, then she carried on with her shopping. She went to the butchery and ordered beef bones with a certain employee.
While the client was in the isle this employee handed the bones to her and received a tip in return which captured the attention of the security officer. The store policy is no tips to be given to employees directly as there have been cases of the butchery staff receiving money to give meat at a cheaper price.
So, when the customer came to pay for the goods, she forgot something and went to get it, and the security came and checked the bones stating that when the staff buys bones there is no meat on them and this one has, she shows the supervisor, he confirmed that there was more meat than usual, and she took it to the manager who was at the back of the store.
The manager said yes there is more meat but to give it to the customer, however he did not know that the costumer was very upset.
The cashier that helped her also explained the reason for the security checking. But the cashier said she never asked for the manager, only that she was upset.
The employee that assisted the client with the bones has been under investigation for given too much meat to clients at a cheaper price.
I hope this can help you.
