The Compass of Namibia
HOMO SAPIENS WRITES:
Namibia, is constitutionally a secular state. This gives everybody the choice of freedom of belief/religion.
You can be Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Jewish, Atheist, Agnostic or Animist etc. you can serve God, the Creator or Mammon (greed). You cannot serve both. You cannot buy salvation. During the liberation struggle, the Council of Churches of Namibia, was a driving force for justice.
The golden harmony rule (trilogy):
“Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you” (be a good neighbour, a good Samaritan).
Do unto your mind and body, as you would have them do to you (they are the temple of your soul).
Do unto mother nature, as you would have her do to you (Eco harmony of fauna and flora – live and let live).
Guide us, by the grace of God, the mercy of Jesus Christ and the blessing of the holy spirit.
Every day is a new start, a new challenge – seize the opportunity to be the difference, that makes difference. To achieve this, we need a partner. We need more God, not less. Long live and bless one Namibia. We share this place, for a better tomorrow, we all belong in the spirit of Ubuntu/Harambee.
We don’t need golden calves (idols) on Independence Avenue, as fake distractions. We need Moses from Sinai and the ten commandments from Exodus, with faith, hope and love, driven by integrity and a competent public service.
