Voter “rage”

In three recent elections, we had examples of voter rage.
In South Africa, the ANC lost its 50 percent majority due to broken promises, unemployment, state capture, corruption, and mismanagement of public services.
In the U.K., the conservatives were booted out comprehensively after 14 years, due to under-performance and economic hardship.
In France, the right, left, and center are in a stalemate. Trust in promises was lost. Vote of no confidence
Democracy is based on the mutual trust of citizens and government.
It is of, by, for, and with the people. The politicians are the servants of the people's aspirations. Deliver or move on.
If trust is broken, voter rage can follow – surprise?
