Warning signs
EUNICE ANN VAN ZYL WRITES:
About three weeks ago it was on NBC news that a person had raped his ten-year-old son. What does that make him? A paedophile or a homosexual or both. Whichever, both poses a danger to children. The LGBTQ movement is causing confusion in the minds of children worldwide. According to the Holy Bible and the words of the Lord Jesus Christ, this will result in serious judgement from God.
Mark 9:42 (NIV Bible – Lord Jesus speaks about children.)
“And if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone tied around his neck.”
The Oxford Dictionary describes the word calamity as an event causing great and often sudden damage or distress.
Watching the present-day news channels, we see calamities following the one after the other. Like signs of warning, I have a book called “Visions of the end of the age about missionaries who worked with street children in China in 1930’s. The Lord spoke a prophetic word through a 10-year-old boy that “because of the increase of wickedness He will strike the earth with four calamities”.
Maybe Covid-19 was the first? How can we know? What we do know is the only safe place now is to repent of our sins and invite the Lord Jesus Christ into our hearts as our personal Savior and Lord.
What I miss most about my husband who had gone to be with the Lord was his profound spiritual input. We disagreed about many things, but our hearts and minds were in complete agreement regarding the “rapture” and the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We are living in troubled, perilous times. We must “guard our hearts” especially against wrong voices. What our God promises He will do for us because He loves us all.
John 14:1-3 (Jesus Christ speaks)
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God trust also in me. In my Fathers house are many rooms. If it were not so I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”
