Warning
EUNICE ANN VAN ZYL WRITES:
I had not read the newspaper for many weeks. Then came the sodomy issue and I was given the Republikein of 24 June by a friend.
I was shocked when I read the article. Shocked that people whom God loves and for whom the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross for, was willing to dishonour Him and His Word without fear.
Our first encounter with the sin of sodomy in the Holy Bible is:
Genesis 18:20
“And the Lord said, Because the cry Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous:”
The Lord God himself called the sin of sodomy grievous. How is it possible that in Namibia some people want to celebrate that which would grieve the Holy Spirit?
The Holy Spirit is the one who guides us into all truth. When I asked Him about Namibia’s present situation, He brought to my remembrance something that happened about 40 years ago. I went on holiday to Pniel, my home town. When I saw one of my nephews, 14 years old, I asked him how he is. He said, aunty Eunice, I had a dream. I dreamt that the mountain fell on Pniel. Pniel has a mountain just outside it, called Simonsberg.
Here is what I found regarding our present situation: We are being warned.
Revelation 6:15
“Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and every slave and free man hid in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains. They called to the mountains and the rocks, Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?”
We must stand in the gap before the Almighty God and repent on behalf of our Nation Namibia and ask God not to pour out His wrath on us.
“Let your Kingdom come and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven Lord. In Jesus Name we pray”.
