We are living in biblical times
EUNICE ANN VAN ZYL WRITES:
I left Windhoek for the Western Cape 3 weeks ago, and returned to a country transformed by die good rains we had received from our Heavenly Father. Praise God!
Further afield a war is raging between Russia and Ukraine. At first glance, a battle of power. However, as Bible believing Christians, we know that Russia plays a major role in end-time prophecy.
I sat watching a news channel when the newsman read what a spokesman had said: “We are living in biblical time. First Covid-19, now war.”
Matthew 24:6-7
“And you shall hear of wars and rumours of wars; see that you be not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom; and there shall be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in diverse places.”
I know Matthew 24 very well. It speaks about the time before the Rapture or the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. Which is my focus as a born-again Christian.
At this time, we must all have an awareness in our spirit about the urgency of the hour. We all still have time to bring in precious souls. It is impossible to focus on the return of the Lord Jesus Christ and not pray for the lost. Those who must be saved.
Saved from what?
From going to hell and eternal damnation. I know that heaven is a wonderful place and that is where the Lord wants people to end up.
John 3:16
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
At present there are two names that cause controversy: Jerusalem and the Lord Jesus Christ. Prophetically in the last book of the Holy Bible this is written:
Revelation 21:1-2
"Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away and there was no more sea. Then I saw the holy city the New Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband."
Revelation 22:20-21
"He who testifies to these things says. 'Surely I am coming quickly. Amen even so come Lord Jesus."
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
