Windhoek-munisipaliteit, hoe is dit moontlik dat toestemming verleen word aan ’n sogenaamde musiekfees op die Stadion naby Olympia, Arebbusch en ander woonhuise? Watse beeld skep dit vir ’n buitelandse toeris, veral op sy eerste nagrus in ons land? Dit hoort mos nie so nie. As dié area se mense en besighede weier om belasting te betaal daaroor, wie se skuld sal dit wees?
To the Governor of the Karas Region.
Your recent report in one of our newspapers refers: It is good to read about upgrading certain health facilities in the South, but what about development at the Neckartal-dam? What about other developments bringing jobs to the Karas Region? We are in a terrible drought situation, is it not desperately necessary for the future of this region, to plan for other feasible economic growth to bring life and prosperity to the Karas Region? Our region brings a lot of income for Namibia, thinking of all the diamonds coming from the wealth of our South. Where does all that income go, only North-ward’s? Are you and your officials actually fighting for the Karas Region?
It is terrible to watch the hunger, the want of people looking for a job, however humble. To see kids begging for a dollar or two, or something to eat, or endlessly bothering tourists for the same reasons.
We want you to stand up for our region, to fight for it, it’s the way it should be.
