‘n Man is die naweek in die Engela-hospitaal opgeneem, nadat hy van huishoudelike geweld en poging tot moord aangekla is. Volgens die polisie se jongste misdaadverslag het die 31-jarige man Vrydag ‘n driejarige meisie, Ingaveuya Ndesheetelwa Tyap, aangerand en teen die grond gegooi het. Sy het ernstige kopbeserings opgedoen en is op die toneel dood. Hy het daarna nog ‘n slagoffer, sy negejarige susterskind ernstige aangerand. Dié seuntjie het verskeie oop wonde op sy kop opgedoen en is in die staatshospitaal op Oshakati opgeneem. Die polisie kon nog nie die motief vir die aanvalle op die kinders vasstel nie, maar na bewering is die verdagte geestesongesteld.
