The police in Erongo region are appealing to the public for assistance in tracing a suspect wanted for multiple stock theft cases.

The suspect, Gideon Kandukira, also known as Mbinda jaNuna, is apparently linked to several incidents reported in Omaruru.
According to inspector Ileni Shapumba, "The suspect has [allegedly] been involved in numerous stock theft cases, which have caused significant distress and financial loss to local farmers. We urge the community to assist us in locating him to prevent further crimes."
Kandukira is originally from Ovihitua village, but is known to frequent neighbouring farms in Omatjete.
"He has been spotted in Swakopmund, Walvis Bay and Windhoek in recent weeks," Shapumba added.
Anyone with information about Kandukira's whereabouts is urged to contact detective chief inspector Jeffrey Urib at 081 439 2687, detective inspector Simson Nghiteeka at 081 268 9687, or the nearest police station.
