Lioness celebrates release of third studio album in style
Namibian rapper Lioness marked the release of her highly-anticipated third studio album ‘If Not In This Life’ with a glamorous release party on Friday, 18 October, at Et Cetera in Windhoek.
Lioness and her team spared no effort in delivering a memorable experience for the attendees, which included music industry insiders, influencers and media professionals. Hosted by the charismatic Paul Da Prince, the event featured electrifying DJ sets by Tumi Mohamed, DJ Alba, Preezy and Sxdated, keeping the energy high throughout the night.
Preezy, who served as the main engineer, took to the stage to share stories behind the creation of various tracks, giving the audience a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse into the making of the album. Lioness also addressed the crowd, opening up about her inspiration for the project and explaining why she titled it ‘If Not In This Life’, a reflection on seizing the moment and embracing life’s fleeting opportunities.
The album, which also dropped on all major digital platforms on Friday, showcases Lioness' growth as an artist, blending introspective themes with her signature fierce sound.
