Namibia Breweries Limited financial results

Namibia Breweries Limited (NBL) released its financial results on Friday. This is the first time that NBL is releasing its financial results as a merged business, following the conclusion of the transaction between NBL, Distell Namibia and Heineken South Africa on 30 April 2023. Therefore, the year-on year comparison are affected by the acquisition. Revenue of N$246 million related to Distell Namibia merger has been included in the group’s results. Royalty income from sales of NBL brands in South Africa increased by 12.5% to N$166 million.
