The highly anticipated Tourism Expo 2022 (TE '22) is officially open to the public today, with the organisers, service providers and exhibitors having spared no effort to make the TE '22 one for the books.
The tourism expo, which takes place at the SKW from 3 to 5 November, will be, as it is renowned for, a feast of flavour, entertainment and local experiences, with exciting attractions including the ever-popular TE Motor Show.
"The Expo Team and our partners are extremely excited that after months of planning and hard work, the time has arrived where we can once again celebrate the world-class tourism and hospitality Namibia has to offer and showcase our unique destinations, tastes, and experiences," Maggy Mbako, PR and communications executive at Namibia Media Holdings, says.

The Tourism Expo Motor Show is an annual highlight for those who enjoy hearty horsepower and exploring far-off destinations. This year’s exhibits range from the finest leisure vehicles, overlanders, self-drive service providers and off-road accessories to whet your appetite for adventure.
Exhibitors include Auas Motors, Indongo Toyota, Indongo Hino, Africa Commercial Vehicles, Off-road Car Rental, Intercape, Hi-Tech Engineering, Zebra Trailers and KTE with a stunning overland conversion they engineered for Windhoek Tours.
Yochanaan Coetzee, content coordinator for My.Na Cars, shared his excitement over the TE Motor Show.
"Over the last 24 years, the Tourism Expo has been a mecca for car lovers with a wanderlust and appreciation for exploring Namibia in a fine or fit-for-purpose adventure vehicle. That is why we are so excited to have some of the best in the business exhibit with us this year, as it gives the public and tourism stakeholders the opportunity to explore the finest leisure and commercial tourism vehicles on the market, in a lively and engaging atmosphere in the company of the My.Na Cars Team."

Today, the Tourism Expo opens at 14:00 and at 10:00 on Friday and Saturday. The gates close at 20:00 every evening, while the festivities continue until 22:00.
Tickets are available at eticket.my.na or at the gate for N$150 for adults and N$50 for youth between the ages of six to18 years.
Children under six and pensioners enter for free, while families can take advantage of the family package on Saturday, 5 November, with two children under 18 years of age gaining free entry while accompanied by at least one full-paying adult.
Entry fees include access to the main Tourism Expo and Motor Show, live entertainment and a range tastings.
