The AB Foundation is a non-profit organisation founded by Abraham Angula. He started the initiative in 2021 with an aim to help less-fortunate individuals.

“I started in order to help the less fortunate in assisting them with food, sanitary products and attending to any needs they may have,” he said.

The foundation was sparked by Angula’s passion for helping people. After seeing individuals across the country suffering, he decided to start the organisation. “Seeing all the suffering in the country, I decided to start the foundation to help where I can and solve some of these problems."

Last weekend, Angula's foundation held its annual Back To School drive at Children Life Change Centre, which saw them donating stationery, food and sanitary products.

“We did this mainly because this time of the year, finances are always an issue and children need the stationery as the school year begins," the founder said.

The foundation’s activities are mainly sponsored by William Angula, an entrepreneur in the healthcare, manufacturing and security industry. He is a treasurer for the Swapo Party Youth League (SPYL) and is also very passionate about giving back to the community, and fighting for the emancipation and empowerment of previously disadvantaged and less privileged people to uplift Namibians economically.

“He has invested in several businesses and has interests in a wide range of companies within different sectors, our main sponsor Phoenix Capital Investment being one of them,” Abraham said.

Since its launch, the foundation has hosted two Christmas projects, two Back To School drives and one winter drive, and all these projects were sponsored by William.
