Despite having fewer subjects, AS Level learners find the workload and volume of notes overwhelming at times.

Prince Kaseba, one of the AS learners, shared his perspective, saying, “As an AS learner, you can’t rely entirely on teachers to guide you through all your schoolwork. I believe this is the year we need to develop independence and take responsibility for our own learning.”

Kaseba also emphasised the consequences of failure, stating that it can lead to setbacks, ultimately resulting in poverty.

He added that while living in poverty is difficult, achieving wealth is even more challenging, requiring hard work and resilience to attain success.

Offering advice to Grade 11 learners, the AS students encouraged them to stay focused and persist despite the demanding workload and back-to-back exams.

They urged their peers to keep their heads held high and push through to achieve outstanding results.
