Infinity RG celebrates successes

Outstanding performance awarded
Infinity Rhythmic Gymnastics Club in Walvis Bay awarded its best gymnasts last weekend.

Last weekend marked a thrilling celebration as Infinity Rhythmic Gymnastics Club in Walvis Bay held its prize-giving ceremony.

The 2023 best gymnasts were Talishi Shikongeni (Level 1), Mila Swiegers (Level 2), Shakira van Heerden (Level 3), Kay-Lynn Oosthuizen (Level 5), Taylor Hays (Level 6), Nyalah Muller (Level 8), Riquelmè van Wyk (Level 10) and Aleandra Van Rooi (High Performance 4).

The club's head coach and owner Britt Adonis-Byl expressed her gratitude for the gymnasts' outstanding performance throughout the year.

"Witnessing the sheer joy on the gymnasts' faces as they receive recognition for their dedication is truly special. It's not just an accolade; it's a spark of inspiration for others, motivating them to strive for those same achievements next year."



Other prizes

The club’s best gymnasts per category were Kai Byl for newcomer of the year, Shakira van Heerden for best novice gymnast, Kay-Lynn Oosthuizen (best intermediate gymnast), Aleandra Van Rooi (best voluntary gymnast and best-performing gymnast), Ray-Anne Moller (most hard-working gymnast), Bethany-Ann Shoombe (most improved), Gea Heunis (most dedicated), Haylin Petersen (also most dedicated), Lene du Plessis (best spirit), Daniella Mouton (special award) and Talishi Shikongeni for the future star award.

Adonis-Byl also expressed her gratitude for the club's progress and development over the years.

"The club's growth over the past seveb years has been truly heartwarming. Through numerous highs and lows, we've formed a sense of community among our club members, evolving into more than just a sports club - we're a family."
