Ongoing assistance for Mboma
An energy-packed partnership
Namibia's golden girl Christine Mboma has been named the brand ambassador for Marathon Sugar.
Gold medalist Christine Mboma is receiving extra encouragement from Marathon Sugar Namibia in preparation for the 2024 Olympic games in Paris.
Genevieve Fisch, Bokomo Namibia's marketing manager, announced the new partnership yesterday. "We intend to help Christine realise her goal."
Mboma will appear in the promotional materials released by Bokomo, Fisch said.
Bokomo's corporate social responsibility work has always included athletics, and they have supported the Quinton Steele Botes Marathon Athletic coaching and training camps for over 22 years. Additionally, the organisation has been improving the lives of young people in communities like Okuryangava and Otjomuise.
Bokomo wishes to continue to assist Mboma even after the 2024 Olympics. For now, the Bokomo's assistance will go toward Mboma's training requirements as well as further assistance for her coaches.
