Members of the LGBTQIA community took to the streets of Windhoek this past weekend to protest against the hate directed at them by fellow Namibians following a recent Supreme Court verdict. The community marched down Independence Avenue, making a stop at the Parliament to address the country's laws with regard to their constitutional rights and protections. They then proceeded to the police station to express their disappointment with the current sodomy law. The event concluded with the community laying down flowers and a copy of the constitution for justice minister Yvonne Dausab.
