It's exam season! The My Zone team asked learners how they manage stress during the May examinations.

How I manage stress during exams is by trying to keep a focused and steady environment. Also, I try to keep Christ as the centre of my studies. I really try to limit my expeditions during exams and I keep it real with myself for each subject I'm writing. And I make sure that I'm content. Always remember, you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you!

To manage stress during exams, I prioritise a balanced routine that includes regular study sessions, breaks and adequate sleep. Additionally, I do light exercise in between and ensure proper nutrition and hydration to keep my mind and body refreshed. Discussing study topics with friends helps to elevate anxiety.

I try to keep myself organised so that everything is not all over the place. I make sure my files and notes are in order and that I stay up to date with my timetable and calendar. I also try to take self-care days when I can. Relax and detox from all the stress by drinking tea, reading a book or even going on a walk to clear your mind.

I don't really have exam stress because usually I feel like I already learn and internalise all my schoolwork, but when I do have stress, I try to calm myself down by listening to my favourite music, going out with my friends and chilling.

When I have stress during exams, I listen to music. Music always calms me down and helps me to concentrate. I light a candle and try to create a nice study atmosphere so that I can romanticise studying. I also call friends a lot and then we study together and help each other to understand the topic.

Stress is a very common symptom of being overworked. What I usually do to mitigate all of it is to simply reflect. Since the root of the problem is essentially just your mind being cluttered, this is optimal. By breaking everything up into pieces and remaining level-headed, you will notice a shift in productivity. Most importantly, stay close to God, and you are all set.
