He added that while the market is not highly lucrative due to limited disposable income and a relatively small local population resulting in repeat clientele, finding a niche can lead to success. “The industry faces competition from travellers seeking experiences outside Namibia, but Travel With Tatekulu focuses on catering to the local market, making it a priority. International visitors are seen as a bonus. With careful research and a unique approach, the business can thrive by providing tailored and localised experiences, ensuring its success within the Namibian tourism landscape,” he said.
