46 nuwe gevalle van Covid-19 in Namibië

Die adjunkminister van gesondheid en maatskaplike dienste dr. Esther Muinjangue sê 46 nuwe gevalle van Covid-19 is die afgelope 24 uur in die land aangeteken. Dit bring die totaal op 1 078 gevalle te staan. Volgens Muinjangue is 45 gevalle Namibiërs en 1 'n Malawiese burger.

Drie gevalle is in Windhoek, twee in Swakopmund, een in Keetmanshoop en 40 in Walvisbaai. Twee gevalle in Windhoek is studente en een 'n vragmotorbestuurder. Volgens Muinjangue is 23 vroue en 23 mans. Agt gevalle is ernstig maar stabiel en waarvan twee in Walvisbaai en ses in Swakopmund is. Tot op hede het 32 mense in Namibië van Covid-19 herstel en het die land 1 044 aktiewe gevalle.

Tot hede is 16 838 weefselmonsters getoets en 599 mense is tans in kwarantyn in geriewe oraloor in die land.
