76 nuwe gevalle van Covid-19 in Namibië, totaal nou 861 vir die land

Die minister van gesondheid en maatskaplike dienste (MoHSS) sê 76 nuwe gevalle van Covid-19 is die afgelope 24 uur in die land aangeteken. Dit bring die totaal vir die land op 861 te staan. Volgens Shangula is 75 Namibiërs en een 'n buitelander op 'n vaartuig by Walvisbaai. Uit die 76 nuwe gevalle is 73 in Walvisbaai, twee van Windhoek en een van Keetmanshoop.

Volgens Shangula is die jongste is drie jaar oud en die oudste 49 jaar oud. Die geval in Keetmanshoop is 'n Zimbabwiese vragmotorbestuurder en inwoner van Suid-Afrika wat die land op 12 Julie getoets is en 'n vrag op Walvisbaai gaan aflaai het.

Die een geval in Windhoek is 'n Namibiese student wat uit Rusland deur Duitsland na Namibië teruggekeer het en op 10 Julie die land ingekom het. Hy is in kwarantyn getoets.

Volgens Shangula het 28 mense tot op hede van Covid-19 herstel. Tot op hede is 14 698 weefselmonsters getoets en is 759 mense tans in kwarantyn in geriewe oraloor in die land.
