Assistance from Sweden
Ninety-nine learners from Kuisebmond Secondary School (KSS) in Walvis Bay received donations from Swan Assembly Trust, a non-profit educational organisation. The learners had the opportunity to make a list of their needs, which included school clothes, books and cosmetics. The donation was valued at N$100 000, which also included an amount towards the school. Learners include boys and girls from grades 9 to 12. The trust works in collaboration with the Flamingo Group based in Sweden. Other schools benefitting from the Swiss’s generosity is Immanuel Ruiters Primary School and Seaside Primary School.
