The primary school athletics championships took place the past weekend at the Kuisebmond Sports Stadium in Walvis Bay. All the local primary schools’ best athletes competed against each other. Boys and girls under 9, 10, 11 and 12 competed in various track and field items.

Here are the first places in the various events:

60-metre dash:
