Bank Windhoek this year sponsored the Best Communication Honours Student 2015 Award at the Namibia University of Science and Technology of which Twakulilwa Kayofa was the recipient. Kayofa is a registered Public Relations Practitioner (PRP) with PRISA.
“The Honours degree complements my current portfolio and background, in terms of keeping up with the latest social media trends while at the same time utilising the most efficient and relevant communication channels to reach our stakeholders. I want to thank Bank Windhoek for sponsoring the award,” Kayofa said.
The Namibia University of Science and Technology's (NUST) Bachelor of Communication Honours is a one year programme. Kayofa started the programme in February 2015. During the course he conducted a study titled: "An analysis of the communication between the Swakara (Karakul) Board of Namibia and Swakara farmers”.
