Boplaas receives support from young entrepreneur

Chanelle Barkhuizen, a gifted young scholar from Karstveld Academy in Grootfontein, took on the role of entrepreneur to assist the Schoeman family, whose house burnt down on their farm Boplaas during the recent veld fires in the Uhlenhorst area.

She helped with a donation by selling milk tarts. With the help of the Grootfontein WB Hardware & Building Supplies, who helped her with the purchase of the ingredients, she raised an amount of N$8 505 for the Schoeman family.

Barkhuizen thanks the Grootfontein community, who opened their hands to help with her project, and her sponsor, WB Hardware & Building Supplies.
