Cancer Ball receives huge support

Henriette Lamprecht
The Cancer Association of Namibia''s second annual Cancer Ball of Namibia, “A night at the Races”, received a huge financial boost. The event’s anchor sponsor, the Pascheka Group of Companies and Tanzanite Sponsor, Spar Namibia, collectively donated N$440 000 towards funding the event which will take place at Safari Court Conference Centre in Windhoek on Saturday the 11th of February 2017.

Funds raised at “A night at the races” have been earmarked for the National Cancer Outreach Programme and the new CHICA (Children Fighting Cancer) in Namibia Interim Home for childhood cancer patients and their families receiving treatment in Windhoek. A limited number of tables of 10 (at a cost of N$10 000 each) is available for this spectacular affair from the Association at [email protected] or 061 237740.
