Die meeste mense met Covid-19 het matige simptome en kan tuis sonder grootskaalse mediese ingryping herstel. As jy vermoed jy het Covid-19 of ’n dokter het dit bevestig, bly tuis tensy jy dringende mediese sorg vereis. Rus, drink gereeld water en gebruik oor-die-toonbank-medikasie om jou simptome soos koors en lyfseer te behandel. Bly in kontak met jou dokter en laat weet hom of haar dadelik sou jy onder meer sukkel om asem te haal, sukkel om wakker te word of wakker te bly, verward is en drukking op jou bors ervaar. Bly tuis sover as moontlik in ’n spesifieke kamer weg van ander mense en ook jou troeteldiere. Gebruik waar moontlik ’n ander badkamer en moenie beddegoed, handdoeke en eetgerei deel nie.
