Do not wait
EUNICE ANN VAN ZYL WRITES:
It was by chance that I saw the SMS in the Republikein of 10 January 2022. Instead of being thankful for the rain that we received over the weekend in Windhoek, this person chose to send a very disrespectful message about our government.
Please don’t do that, but if you must don’t display your cowardice by leaving out your name.
Criticism of governments of nations shows disregard for God’s word and may open ourselves to God’s judgement.
Romans 13:1-2 New King James
“Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.
Therefore, whoever resist the authority resist the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgement on themselves.”
Our God is the righteous judge. Let Him judge those in government who forget they are our servants, chosen by God to do us good.
1 Timothy 2:1-3 New International Version
“I urge then first of all that requests prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone - for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
This is good and pleases God our Savior who wants all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
I strongly sense in my spirit that we as born-again believers must warn people. The time for playing games is past. We are living in what the Holy Bible calls perilous or terrible times and it will get worse.
The only safe place is in the centre of God’s will. To come to repentance and to confess the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
Time is running out. Don’t wait God bless you.
