The FP du Toit Transport Group is 100% Namibian owned and operate in the Namibian and Southern African logistics market since 1968. The group is not only recognised by the diversified service offering to a large customer base, including the mining sector, but also operating the newest fleet of well-maintained vehicles and equipment.
Wesbank transport, a division of the group, is a long-time service provider to the mining sector. Offerings include cross border long haul, short haul services from the Walvis Bay port, including container and warehousing services, chemical logistics and material handling. The material handling offer include mobile cranes ranging from 15 to 220 tons, forklifts, reach stackers and the largest fleet of abnormal low beds up to 100 tons. Supportive logistical services include ad-hoc projects, viability studies, logistical solution design and consultation.
With the youngest fleet of vehicles, specialised container carriers, pneumatic tankers and sulphuric tankers and abnormal fleet, Wesbank Transport support all the mining customers in the region. “Our people are our biggest asset”. FP du Toit is not only one of the largest employers in the industry, but also offer training to staff and external customers. Various incentive schemes keep employees motivated.
Other division in the fleet offer courier and consolidation services. Through a single point of contact the mining sector can have access to the most comprehensive logistical service offering.
The team is committed to ensure the health, safety and security of all employees, visitors ad customers. We make use of preventative measures to reduce injuries, loss and damage through dedicated risk and safety management teams. Continuous improvement of health, safety and security is maintained through security campaigns. Effective emergency response procedures and plans are regularly updated and verified. We achieved ISO9001 certification and have an in-house SHEQ division. Wesbank Transport is also a signatory to the International Cyanide Management Code for the transport of cyanide and is the only Namibian transport company who mat transport cyanide. Wesbank Transport is also the only Namibian transporter of Class 7 Uranium product.

Pro Parcel Distribution is another division of FP du Toit Transport; dedicated to consolidated freight mainly between South Africa and Namibia.
The distribution network from Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban service every Namibian town through a hub and spoke supply network in Windhoek, Oshakati, Tsumeb, Walvis Bay, Mariental and Keetmanshoop. Delivery to all major Namibian destinations five time a week, and minor destinations not less than twice a week.
The JET.X courier service operate cross border between South Africa and Namibia, and within the Namibian Domestic market. Delivery to every Namibian destination, Monday to Saturday.
