Expert becomes CEO
DIMINCO Diamonds Manufacturing Namibia (DDMN) has appointed international businessman Mr. Tashi Tangeni Shiimi-ya-Shiimi as its Chief Executive Officer.

DDMN faces some challenges as we prepare for the next phase in our business cycle, but are very confident that we will achieve success under the leadership of Mr. Shiimi-ya-Shiimi,? said Mr. Chetan Choksi, DIGICO Group Executive Chairman.
DDMN is DIGICO Group?s first and only African operation and is owned by DIGICO Holdings (Hong Kong) and TaTe Group (Namibia).
Established in 1966 DIGICO is one of the largest vertically integrated diamond and jewellery group with activities that span the world. DIGICO has been a DTC sight holder since 1967. DIGICO Group has diamond cutting and polishing facilities in China, India, Thailand and Namibia.
DIGICO?s distribution channel comprises of around 200 DIGICO owned jewellery outlets in Japan & China and 125 affiliate owned outlets in the USA.
Additionally, DIGICO has a distribution channel of over 500 outlets in India. A group company of DIGICO is publically traded on the Tokyo stock exchange.
