FlyWestair takes hands with SPES charity
FlyWestair inaugurated its new Wednesday flight to Ondangwa by welcoming six children from the Step out of Poverty through Education, Encouragement and Support (SPES) charity onboard for their first flight experience.
FlyWestair celebrated the addition of a Wednesday flight to its Ondangwa schedule by welcoming the children from the Windhoek-based charity on an exciting day onboard a flight.
The children got to meet the pilots, see the cockpit and enjoy thew view from the sky.
For all of the children, this was their first flight. This initiative forms part of FlyWestair’s continued commitment to Namibia and the Namibian people.
FlyWestair is committed towards its promise to enrich the lives of local communities and serve Namibians.
SPES is a non-profit organisation whose main purpose is serving the less fortunate children in Namibia by helping them step out of poverty through encouragement, education and support.
The newly introduced Wednesday flight takes the total number of flights between Windhoek (Eros Airport) and Ondangwa (Andimba Toivo Ya Toivo Airport) to five per week, with flights taking off on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
In addition, FlyWestair also offers scheduled flights from Windhoek (Hosea Kutako International Airport) to Cape Town (Cape Town International Airport) weekly on Fridays and Mondays.
