FNB Restaurant Week in full swing

This past weekend was the kick-start of the FNB Restaurant Week, which will continue until 3 September 2017. Madri van Wyk, Marketing Manager at FNB Namibia called on all Namibians to enjoy a scrumptious meal at any of the participating restaurants in Windhoek and the coast, and rate them using the FNB App. “It is important that as many people as possible participate and give feedback to the restaurants and cafés. Restaurant Week is the perfect opportunity to improve our service industry while having some fun at the same time.”

Van Wyk added that this year FNB Namibia is offering an additional innovation to customers in the form of Geo Payment, where customers can split a bill at a restaurant and pull payment to one card, thereby making sharing of the restaurant bill. “You will find this function on the FNB App under Geo Payments. Two App users should select Geo Payments and pair their phones together. After pairing, you can make a transfer from one account to another with no need for setting up conventional payment with all the banking details. Using Geo Pay, you can make payments from as little as N$1.”

There are also numerous prizes up for grabs on Facebook and the App, such as voucher prizes. “The grand prize is a trip for two to Thailand! Every vote submitted qualifies as an entry for the draw - one vote per entry and multiple entries for eating and voting at different restaurants. Competition rules, and terms and conditions are available on the Restaurant app which can be downloaded from your smartphone’s app store,” concludes van Wyk.
