Full profit barrel for NamBrew
Namibia Breweries Ltd reported a comprehensive profit of N$931.1 million for the year ended 30 June 2019 – about N$533.4 million more than its 2018 book-year.
The results were boosted by Heineken South Africa’s contribution of N$451 million, NamBrew said in its latest results released on the Namibian Stock Exchange (NSX) this afternoon. In 2018, the associate made an equity loss of N$33 million.
NamBrew declared a final dividend of 50c per ordinary share, following an interim dividend of 50c per share. A special dividend of 121.05c per ordinary share was also declared.
NamBrew is listed on the Local Index of the NSX. It closed at N$46.00 per share on Wednesday. It ended 2018 at N$46.50 per share. Its closing monthly peak so far this year was N$48.41 at the end of June.
