Tylvas Shilongo 'n spreekwoordelike “pennelekker” maak?
In die jongste wending is 'n aanstelling teruggetrek by die ACC omdat daar oor ongerymdhede gekla is. Nogal by die ACC.

The gross politicization of school reopening plans
As school districts across the country develop reopening plans, the issue of balancing instruction and safety has leapt into the wrong lane: politics.
Chicago Teachers Union members took to the streets Monday to protest the Chicago Public Schools' preliminary reopening plan.
Remote learning has not and cannot serve the most vulnerable school populations of at-risk and special needs kids. The district risks losing thousands of students and pushing those who stay further behind.
Meanwhile, in its usual provocative posture, CTU organized a protest in the midst of the pandemic to demand that all schools remain closed.
What is CTU's plan for successful remote learning? There isn't one. Just marches and political pressure. By Tuesday afternoon, the union was threatening another strike. Mayor: Don't cave to CTU.
President Donald Trump has turned reopening schools into a divisive campaign issue. As if the issue is as simple as unlocking the doors.
Dial down the noise of groups using reopening plans to spark their political base, and push for whatever is best for their children. Same for teachers concerned about their own health. Parents and teachers should be given options.
Flexibility on all sides is the mission here.
For children in unstable home environments, the respite and safety of going to school has been taken from them.
